Belinda has been a personal trainer since 2009 and is passionate about helping women achieve their health and fitness goals. Despite living an active and healthy lifestyle, Belinda wasn't always happy with her body shape, and like many women tried plenty of different diets and exercise programs over the years.
In her mid-late 30s, through education and mentoring, Belinda made significant changes to her physique, leading to her entering and placing in a number of figure competitions between 2009 and 2011. Belinda uses this personal experience combined with her formal qualifications to assist her female clients to achieve their goals. She is particularly interested in helping women gain confidence in the gym, gain an appreciation of weight training, and helping them develop healthier eating habits.

I grew up in a country town in NSW where I played many sports; cricket, football, track and field just to name a few. Having an active lifestyle when I was a younger attracted me to the military, where I have served four years. While enlisted I completed my diploma of fitness, including speciality courses such as, advance strength and conditioning and a certificate in power training. I have trained a range of people from a female Royal Australian Air force snowboarding champion, South Australian state sprinter and many weight loss clients.

Sophie Northam - Pilates
Sophie began her career as a professional ballet dancer, performing featured roles with companies in New York and Germany. During her time as a dancer, Sophie used Pilates as an integral part of her general conditioning and rehabilitation program. Therefore, it was only natural that she developed a desire to continue her involvement with Pilates after her retirement from dancing.
After returning to Brisbane in 2006, Sophie completed her instructor training program under the guidance of respected Australian practitioners Nicole Vass and Jan Smith and began to teach mat and studio Pilates. Sophie also completed the internationally recognised Polestar Studio Pilates Instructor Course. Sophie has travelled to London, New York and Vancouver to learn from leading international practitioners. In Vancouver, Sophie became qualified to teach the "Pink Ribbon Program", a Pilates-based recovery program for breast cancer survivors to help regain mobility and improve quality of life. She is also a licenced Xtend Barre instructor and is excited at the opportunity this presents to combine Pilates with her love of dance.
